Full Description

Binbrook's earliest Wesleyan Methodist Chapel was built on the west side of the High Street in 1816. It was closed in 1877 when a new chapel was opened opposite. Thereafter this building was used a Sunday school for many years and then as a warehouse. The building currently stands empty (2014). The building is of yellow brick and has a gabled roof. It has stone cills and a defaced tablet. The windows are bricked in. Stell considers that this is the Market Place Primitive chapel (see PRN 45868), whereas all other sources indicate that this is the older of the two Wesleyan chapels. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6}
