Full Description

PRN 55196 A site visit was undertaken to the proposed wind farm at Laughton prior to development. Earthworks were observed at (SK 8620 9690) which were interpreted as an enclosure and a building. These were also observed on the 1945 AP 4212/4213. {1} Geophysical survey of the Turbine 10 area identified two potential features. One feature was a curvilinear anomaly approximately 20m across while another appeared as a linear with a 90 degree bend in the middle, possibly representative of a building or platform.{2} Topographical survey of the area around Turbine 10 failed to show the presence of any earthworks or features.{3}
