Full Description

The former Sunday School on School Lane was built in the second half of the nineteenth century, and is currently used as garage/storeroom. {1}{2} T-plan red brick building in unusual bond of six courses of stretchers alternating with one course of headers, under a pitched gabled pantile roof. Several windows infilled with brick. {3} White's 1856 Trade Directory states that the parish school had been held 'since time immemorial' in the courthouse of the manor, so it is likely that the school moved to this building after that date. {4}
