Full Description

The former Primitive Methodist Chapel is located on Dog and Duck Lane, and was built in 1893 in Gothic style. It is probably a replacement for a chapel built in 1841. It is constructed of red brick with a concrete pantile roof. It has a raised gable with stone copings and kneelers, stone hood mouldings and string course. The main window on the street frontage is a mixture of a roundel with Decorated style tracery, and Perpendicular style tracery. All the windows have stained glass, and the side windows are segmental headed openings. It is not clear what the building is currently used as, but it may still be used as a chapel. {1}{2}
