Full Description

PRN 63558 19 trial trenches were excavated on land at Fen Road, Ruskington prior to development. Pits, ditches and post holes were found which were dated to the middle Iron Age by the pottery sherds that they contained. The features also contained animal bone. There was a possible sub-enclosure, and the assemblage was indicative of a rural settlement. There were no excavated features which could be dated to the late Iron Age. {1} {2}
