Full Description

55071 This Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in North Owersby was rebuilt in 1856, as a replacement for one built in 1837, the location of which is not known. The chapel built in 1856 was itself replaced by one built in 1908 on Thornton Road. It is constructed of yellow brick with a pantile roof and segmental headed windows. It originally had three bays, and the original doorway and windows have been blocked and new ones inserted, and was used until recently as a Post Office. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
