Full Description

A bronze half-follis coin of Constantine I was found at Ingoldmells point. The coin was struck at Sirmium and dates to 324AD. It appears to be a type commemorating one of the great victories in that year. The reverse reads SARMATIA DEVICTA (Sarmatia conquered) and shows a prisoner cowering at the feet of a winged victory. {1}
