PRN 45829
Billy Butlin opened his first Holiday Camp on 11th April, Easter weekend, 1936. It catered for 500 people at a cost of £2.10s per head. The first chalets were timber frmed, with an infill of asbestos panels. Billy Butlin's slogan was ' Our True Intent Is All For Your Delight'. {1}
