Full Description

PRN 63529 Four stone axes (probably Neolithic) from the east side of the parish. The finds were reported at the Woodhall Show, but have not been seen. No further information was received. Therefore the finds are unlocated. {1} Given the number of axes the collection may have come from a hoard. In association with other stone axe finds in the vicinity, the collection may be indicative of Neolithic ritual or religious activity on the wetland / dry land margins. {2}
