Rowston Manor House was constructed in 1741 with additions in 1985. It is constructed in coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. It has a slate roof with ashlar coped gables, stands two storeys high (with attics) and has seven bays. The Manor House, constructed of stone, is dated on a rainwater head 1741. The building has seven bays, the doorway with a segmental pediment as its hood on plain brackets. Inside, there are two good panelled rooms and a contemporary staircase. {2}
Manor House, Rowston. 19th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with three sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. The farmhouse is the only surviving historic structure. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {3}
