PRN 63513
A programme of trial excavation was undertaken in advance of residential development on land off Winton Road, Navenby. The work identified a single undated ditch, aligned northwest to southeast and some 1.06m wide by 0.27m deep. Despite total excavation of the ditch, no datable material was recovered; the only find being a fragmented animal bone. The ditch was thought to reflect an earlier field system on the site. {1} {2}
