Full Description

PRN 70389 Trial trenching on the site revealed a buff clay floor and a robbed out wall, this was interpreted as an early post-medieval building. {1}{2} Excavation at 21 Wragby Road in 2006 revealed a robber trench which had removed much of a wall which formed part of the series of houses forming the frontage onto Greetwellgate. The trench also contained mid 17th century pottery and a copper pin. A further pit contained 18th to 20th tile. {3}{4}
