Full Description

55005 A Wesleyan chapel was in existence in Bishop Norton in the 1850s. There is a chapel on Main Street, which may be a rebuilding of the Wesleyan chapel, which has a date stone of 1865, and 'Free Church'. It is a simple three bay red brick building, with minimal black brick dressings and a pantile hipped roof. The window openings are square headed, and the frames are modern wood. The doorway is a round headed arch. It is currently used as a storeroom. {1}{2}{3}{4}
