Full Description

A Wesleyan Methodist chapel is depicted in this location on the 1st edition 6" Ordnance Survey County Series map. The chapel is recorded as having been built in 1835, with seating for 78 people. The building is depicted on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map, but is no longer labelled as a chapel, suggesting it may not have been in use at that time. The building does not appear on later OS mapping of this area, and was presumably demolished at some point in the first half of the 20th century. {1}{2}{3}
