Full Description
Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow to the west of Brackenborough Road, identified from aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. {1}
Further remains of east to west aligned medieval ridge and furrow were recorded in this location in November 2011, during earthwork survey of land at 81 Brackenborough Road. The earthworks appeared to have been rather badly degraded by more recent agricultural activity, although could be seen to extend in to the fields to the immediate east of that previously identified by the NMP. {2}{3}
