Full Description

19th century school building. Single storey building of coursed stone, under a pitched gabled roof of slate. Ashlar quoins and window dressings. One lateral stack. Coped gables. Gabled porch on the front elevation. {1} The school is shown on the 1905 OS County Series map. {2} A schoolmaster is mentiond in White's 1856 Trade Directory, supported by a rent-charge from the Church land. {3}
