Full Description
A former brickworks is depicted in this location at leadenham Low Fields, on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map. It is labelled as an 'Old Brick Works' indicating it was no longer in operation at the time of survey. {1}
The works here are thought to have been called Broughton Mills Brickworks. They ceased operation about 1896. {2}
