Full Description

63336 A possible Romano-British burial was found at a depth of five feet in ironstone workings in Leadenham (the exact location of which are not known). There appeared to be a wooden coffin with angle-irons at the corners, with traces of wood still on them. Three pots were found in the burial at the head, middle and feet of the burial. {1}{2}{3}
