A smithy is indicated on the 1905 OS second edition County Series map. The exact location of the building is not certain. However, the location seems to be adjacent to The Island. The building survived in the 1950s, but no longer exists. {1}{2}
The village smithy building does still exist although it is now a house and its location is unclear. It may be the building now know as 'The Island' (PRN 63271). {3}
