Early 19th century building with similarly dated shop window. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1}{2} 1 Cornmarket was the subject of a programme of photographic recording, conducted in July 2015, to inform proposed alterations and change of use. The building is of three storeys and is constructed of painted brick, with a modern asbestos pantile roof. The structure has seen some moderate structural repairs and has been subject to many internal alterations over the course of its use. Some original features do survive, however, including some of the windows, the early 19th century canted oriel on the 1st floor, and patches of lime render to some of the internal walls. {3}
