Full Description

Three storey brick building at the southern end of a terrace of six houses which extend northwards. Much of the original detail of the terrace façade has been lost, due to the adaptation to commercial use. Internally 7 New Street has a large central chimney, which served fireplaces in each of the six rooms. The ground floor fireplace dates to c.1900; it is cast iron with multi-coloured tiles. Three carpenters marks were noted in the roof timbers. {1}
