Full Description

PRN 13804 Archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) was undertaken on land at The Mountbridge Works, Fishtoft Road, Boston prior to development of the site. In the north eastern part of the site, the evaluation revealed a group of former water channels, post-holes, pits and plough marks, possibly associated with a medieval field system. Pottery recovered from the water channels and pits were dated to the period between the 14th to 16th centuries {1} {2}
