Full Description

Farmhouse and garden wall, possibly built in 1689 for the Cotton Family. It is constructed in red brick laid in English Bond and has an old tiled roof with tumbled gables. The interior retains a dogleg staircase with large barley sugar turned balusters with acorn bases and moulded handrail. The wall stands eight feet high in Flemish Bond. A stable block stands nearby, and was built in the late 18th century in red brick with a pantile roof (see PRN 14205).
