Full Description

Early 19th century milestone on Swineshead Road, Frampton. It is a limestone post, square in plan with a pyramidal top. It is inscribed 'SLEAFORD 15 MILES' and 'BOSTON 3 MILES' in the respective side panels. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1}{2} The milepost was inspected as part of a condition survey of historic milestones in Boston Borough, conducted in early 2020. It was found to be in a relatively good condition at that time, although some slight edge damage was noted. {3}
