Possible medieval settlement remains have been identified at Morton Hall. They may relate to the hamlet of Bracken in Swinderby. {1}
The hamet of Bracken was in the north-east of Swinderby parish in the mid 19th century. There were six farmers and two gentlemen living there in 1856. {2}
