Full Description

63149 During the construction of a water pipeline an excavation was carried out to the north of Grange Farm. A sub-circular pit was identified which contained four sherds of mid second century pottery, and a fragment of Roman tile, and three fragments of wall plaster. This suggests that there may have been a building of some status in the vicinity. {1}{2}
