Full Description

Former school. Small three bay single storey red brick building, under a pitched gabled slate roof. Buff brick quoins and door and window surrounds. Small gabled porch on the southern gable elevation. One lateral stack to rear. {1} The parish school was erected by subscription at some point before 1856 and was described in White's 1856 Trade Directory as a small building. {2} The school is shown in its current plan form on both the 1888 and 1905 OS maps of Boothby Graffoe. {3}{4} The school was closed in the later 20th century and is now in use as a residential property.
