PRN 63114
At Tonge's Farm, Norton Disney Quarry, a watching brief identified a number of ditches, probably dating to the post medieval period (although no dating material was retrieved). In particular, towards the eastern edge of the field, a 1.2m wide and 0.3m deep curving ditch was seen. The feature was aligned north to south, but curved towards the hedge boundary near the southern end of the field. This ditch may represent an old field boundary ditch. {1}{2}
