Full Description
Brant House Farmhouse was built in the 17th century of brick with a plain tile roof. It was altered in the mid 18th and early 19th century. It is L-shaped in plan and has two storeys. Brant House, Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. {2}
