At Lister Place are a series of barns, outbuildings and a cottage, built in the early and late eighteenth century of brick with pantile roofs. There is a large barn, and attahced at the north corner is a low range of outbuildings. Beyond that there is another, smaller, early eighteenth century barn. Further still, to the north, there is a high brick wall pierced by a small doorway and finally a small two storey cottage. Unnamed farmstead, Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe. Extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the fourth side of the yard. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. Located within or in association with a village. {2}
