Full Description

62993 Carlton House dates from the mid eighteenth century, and is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings. Used by the Free Hungarian government in the 1940s. It has an ashlar coped boundary to the front. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {3}
