PRN 36511
An archaeological watching brief monirored the gorundworks for the conversion and extension of a propoerty at 51/52 George Street, Grantham. The work identified an early medieval rubbish pit, containing artefacts dating to between the mid to late 5th to late 8th Century AD. The finds included pottery sherds, animal bone and a bone weft beater (or thread picker). {1} {2}
