Summary
Two archaeological watching briefs identified sections of the south wall of the upper Roman city. The wall consisted of limestone masonry blocks, some of these exhibited chamfered moulding and rough facing. The blocks were bonded with lime mortar.

Two separate archaeological watching briefs were undertaken at properties on Wordsworth Street, Lincoln. The two investigations identified sections of the south wall of the upper Roman city. The wall consisted of limestone masonry blocks, some of these exhibited chamfered moulding and rough facing. The blocks were bonded with lime mortar. {1}{2}
