Full Description

PRN 70353 During a watching brief three roughly finished limestone walls were recorded. The wall is thought to be dated later than the fourteenth century; some pottery sherds all dating to the late medieval period were also recovered together with some medieval roof tiles. A further wall connected with a late phase of the adjacent Lion and Snake pub was also recorded. {1}{2}
