Full Description

Cropmarks of a small rectangular enclosure with possible track was noted on aerial photographs of this area. {1}{2}{3}{4} The aerial photography was examined as part of the National Mapping Programme, which identified two adjoining enclosures here. The enclosures were thought to be of probable prehistoric or Roman date, and were visible as rectilinear, ditch-defined features, measuring 25m by 25m and 15m by 15m. Both enclosures appeared to have entrances on their eastern side. {5}
