PRN 70352
A post-medieval stone building and stone floor was recorded suring trial trenching of the former Anchor Street Works. Two clay lined pits were are recorded, these are thought to have perhaps held liquid and were associated with smithing. Approximately 60 sherds of pottery have been dated to the post medieval period, many of these sherds are known to have come from the kilns in the suburb of Wigford, although several vessls are unlike those and they could have originated from as as yet undiscovered kiln site. {1}{2}
