Full Description

PRN 45503 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of foundation trenches for three detached houses and two garages on land adjacent to Rectory Cottage, Back Lane, Wood Enderby. Two Saxo-Norman (PRN 45502) features were recorded in the southern part of the development area. One of these, a large north to south aligned ditch, contained a re-deposited Neolithic flint blade fragment. The presence of this artefact on the site is indicative of activity in the vicinity of the site during this period {1} {2}
