An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during residential development on land to the rear of The Cottage, Lower Road, Hough on the Hill. The watching brief monitored the excavation of foundation trenches for the new development and identified a number of post-medieval deposits and features. Post-medieval deposits include subsoils and dumped deposits {1} {2}
