Full Description

Tower mill built in the late 19th century, possibly as late as 1880s, to replace a post mill. Had an integral steam engine and four pairs of stones. In 1887 a fire destroyed the building inside. The mill was reinstated as an engine powered mill and worked until at least the 1930s. It was later almost completely demolished, now only a single storeyed stump remains. {1}
