Cropmarks, including enclosures, to the north of Ashby Puerorum, have been identified from aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. They have been interpreted as being the remains of a Roman villa. These remains overlie what has been interpreted as the remains of a prehistoric settlement (see PRN 45319). {1}
