Full Description

Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow to the north-east of Halton Holegate, identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. {1} Further traces of ridge and furrow were identified on the Google Maps aerial photographic layer, to the south and east of those previously identified. The remains could be seen as a number of adjoining blocks of parallel linear earthworks. {2}
