Full Description
PRN 44835
Archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) along the route of the Partney Bypass identified a medieval field system of north-east/south-west orientation and, in part, superimposing an earlier Romano-British coaxial field system (PRN 44834) and probably associated with ridge and furrow nearby (PRN 44852). Component parts include ditches and a possible pond or watering hole. {1} {2}
