Medieval ridge and furrow has been recorded from aerial photographs as surviving as earthworks to the north east of Market Stainton Hall. {1}
Much of the area has since been levelled through arable farming. Earthworks appeared to survive in the central part of the area when viewed on the Google Maps photographic image in November 2011. {2}
