Full Description

PRN 44714 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during development on land adjacent to Station Road, Thorpe St Peter (11th October 2002). Two medieval boundary ditches were identified, cutting the natural alluvium. A small amount of abraded pottery was recovered dating to between the 13th and 15th centuries. Overlying the two ditches was an undated layer. A similar layer was identified during previous investigation (LI3816) and identified to the medieval period. {1} {2}
