Full Description

Roman coins and pottery fragments were found here 1908. {1} Romano-British pottery and many tesserae were found in 1950 in fields just north of where a Roman pavement is marked on the OS 6inch map of 1909. There is a surface concentration of Romano-British debris including tile, grey-ware sherds and a piece of Samian in an area approximately 70m by 120m centred at TA 0512 0666. {2}{3} Roman building debris and tesselated Roman pavement. {4}
