Full Description

PRN 44670 Two undated pits were found during a watching brief on a residential development at land (Plot 3) adjacent to The Laurels, Main Road, Toynton All Saints. A pit was found towards the south of the the house plot, was 1.40m wide by 0.30m deep and contained a small quantity of baked clay. The second pit which was found in the north-west corner, was 2.1m wide by 0.30m deep. Both pits were sealed by a layer containing finds dating to the medieval period. {1}{2}
