Full Description
PRN 70324
An undated stone built wall (or wall foundation) was found in the north wall groundwork trench. It lay on a north-south orientation and comprised three courses of roughly squared limestone blocks bonded by coarse, light brown mortar. Several fragments of architectural stone were recovered from the vicinity of the wall. Although undated, it is likely that the wall belonged to a building within the former Monks Abbey religious cell (PRN 70137).{1}{2}
