Full Description

Cropmarks of rectilinear boundaries of probable late Iron Age or Roman date, to the north-east of Warren Farm, Welton le Wold. Identified on aerial photographs examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2} The cropmarks are visible on more recent aerial photography as linear ditches forming vary large rectilinear enclosures. It is thought likely that these remain are related to the extensive Iron Age or Roman settlement activity to the south-east. {3}
