Cropmarks of a former post-medieval road, clearly associated with Bloxholm Hall. Identified on aerial photographs examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2}
Although not shown as a road, the 1st edition 6" Ordnance Survey County Series map depicts an avenue of trees in this area, leading from Roxholme Road directly northwards towards Bloxholm Hall. The avenue appears to have been removed by 1905, as it does not appear on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map of this time. {3}{4}
