Full Description
Cropmarks of a Bronze Age round barrow, to the north of Beck Plantation, South Rauceby. Visible as a large, double, or possibly even triple-concentric ringed ditched enclosure, with an internal diameter of 13m and an outer diameter of 31m. Forms part of a wider probable barrow cemetery, being the northernmost of a group of at least three round barrows. The barrow lies within the arc of two pit alignments, though the relationship between these features is uncertain. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6}
